Review of the Ase Utra Jet-Z Compact moderator.

Sound moderators, supressors or “silencers” as non shooters like to call them have been a controversial subject over the years. First off the bat I would like to debunk the “silencer” myth and give a brief outline of what moderators actually do before getting into the Ase Utra Jet-Z Compact.

Building a Presicion Rifle Part 5 – Long range steel in the snow.

I must confess I am a little behind regards writing articles. I have been very busy shooting and testing kit which is very important or I would have nothing to write about! Last week I made the winter pilgrimage to Wales with some of the regular crew with a goal in mind. To run the……

Load testing with Reload Swiss RS60 and the GnZ Precision Rifle build.

I took a trip down to Bisley today in order to run a barrel break in on the .260Rem and do a little load testing. Building a Precision Rifle Part 2 – MDT HS3 Stock assembly and DNZ Gamereaper mounts.

After a couple of weeks of paperwork and thumb twiddling the second hand Remington 700 finally arrived (many thanks to ACP Shooting, Sussex, UK).
I had been trawling the used ads online and found an ADL (basic model) for £350.
The rifle is well used but in satisfactory condition given the price. The barrel is……

Building a Precision rifle – Part 1: MDT HS3 Chassis and calibre choice.

We have a number of rifles available to use here at GnZ. The calibres are the tried and tested old favourites.. .308, .223, .303, 30-06.. I thought it about time we got into something a little different. I decided to run a series of articles featuring a Precision rifle build. Precision/Practical rifle is growing in……
